Drunk driving laws are strict – and you're in trouble if you've been pulled over for DUI
It's no longer enough to say that you're innocent once you've been pulled over for DUI. Even if you are, you need a good criminal defense attorney to protect you. Most of us applaud the fact that groups like Mothers Against Drunk Driving have tightened drunk driving laws in past decades. Indeed, we're all safer on the road. However, if you've been driving around and have NOT been drinking or using mind altering substances, you can still get pulled over.
Unfortunately, that leaves you in the precarious position of having to try to defend your innocence because you haven't done anything wrong. Don't try to defend your case. Don't think you can talk your way out of the situation
It's tempting if you're innocent to simply think you can talk your way out of the situation.
